Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning Broadway musical from 1996 – based loosely on Puccini's “La Bohème” but with a rock-inspired score – follows a year in the lives of seven impoverished young artists and musicians in New York’s Lower East Side under the shadow of AIDS.
