Meet Evelyn Gaiser Professor and Executive Director of SEAS. Dr. Gaiser is an aquatic ecologist interested in the long-term change of lakes and wetlands. Her mission as Director of SEAS is to promote public awareness, education local, national, and international communities, disseminating research findings on environmental issues, and providing leadership for a sustainable future. Mixtape Mondays present ideas from FIU faculty across disciplines, using the museumís collection as a focal point to talk about their research interests. Zine Workshop

Join us for a zine-making workshop inspired by our current exhibition, Relational Undercurrents: Contemporary Art of the Caribbean Archipelago. This exhibition is the first major survey of twenty-first century art of the Caribbean. Zines are personal hand-crafted publications. Materials for the workshop will be provided.
